Once Upon a time on the Web. "Carbon" Web Gis Open Pit Mining System.
Carbon Gis is a 3D geologic modeling system for open pit mining. Based on Web-GIS has been developed and improved to perform acquisition of the field survey data, borehole lignite evolution, construction of the model, pit design, pit scheduling and visualization of the results on Web for sharing and providing 3D geologic information. The base system for Web-GIS is constructed by mapping engine, Web-GIS client, GIS and relational database management system. "Carbon" Web Gis is in final release and soon will be available on cloud computing.
