Industrial and Cultural Heritage

Evmolpos presents a unique blend of capabilities with widespread experience in effectively identifying the heritage needs in regards to government, mining, developers and community groups.

Natural heritage refers to features and areas such as: wetlands; coastal wetlands; fish habitat; woodlands; valley lands; habitat of endangered and threatened species; wildlife habitat; and areas of natural and scientific interest. Evmolpos uses sound scientific theories and methods to identify natural heritage systems. Reliable data analyzed by our experts and a thorough understanding of the planning area and ecological concepts contribute to a sound methodology for natural heritage system development.

Archaeological assessment and investigations of cultural and heritage resources including traditional ecological knowledge are required for an Environmental Assessment. Evmolpos collaborates with archaeological and heritage resource specialists to ensure the completion of these studies in a timely manner and in accordance with provincial and federal regulations.

Archaeological Reconstruction

Archaeological Reconstruction is a field of study which attempts to generate and test archaeological hypotheses, usually by replicating or approximating the feasibility of ancient cultures performing various tasks or feats. It employs a number of methods, techniques, analyses, and approaches, based upon archaeological source material such as ancient structures or artifacts.

It is distinct from uses of primitive technology without any concern for archaeological or historical study. Living history and historical reenactment, which are generally undertaken as a hobby, are the non archaeological person's version of this academic discipline.

One of the main forms of experimental archeology is the creation of copies of historical structures using only historically accurate technologies.

City Modelling

3D city modelling allows us to build an accurate digital representation of an entire urban structure, granting greater precision to project planning. By providing a platform for collaboration, changes can be added by experts and fed back on by other engineers, designers, city councils and city planners, so that everyone works from the same project.

Our technology brings together a vast amount of information to share one coherent story with everyone involved, enabling more expedient and accurate future planning.

Industrial Modelling

The recent emergence of affordable 3D data derived from Aerial photography has made city-wide 3D modeling a possibility for municipalities. Such models are useful for providing a 3D context for exploring development proposals. This is particularly important in parts of the city that will have several projects in the planning phase at the same time. The common operating picture shared by designers and planners provides opportunities for harmonization of projects and reduces the risk of unforeseen problems.

BIM Modelling

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data. It’s a digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of a facility. It is a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility, forming a reliable basis for decisions making from origin to demolition. BIM models can give comprehensive construction information which cannot be obtained by 2D drawings alone.

Evmolpos has wide range of expertise in BIM and is actively engaged in various International BIM production activities, seeking a synthesis between technology and effective response to the challenges of each project. Evmolpos provides projects and services in the following sectors using BIM.

  • Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) services.

  • Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) solutions

  • Structural, Constructions & Analysis

  • Scan to BIM.
