Carbon Web-Gis

The mining industry has faced huge challenges in recent years. Forward-looking mining owner‐operators understand that optimizing current sites is critical, as new capital projects face greater scrutiny. Evmolpos WebGis solutions for mining enable you to optimize your mine operations. We offer solutions to plan, design, and survey both underground and surface mines, to design the supporting infrastructure for mine sites above and below ground, and to efficiently manage your assets and mine operations.

Evmolpos Carbon Management is a web-based open pit lignite mining management system to assist mining scientists and land managers in achieving “best practice” mining outcomes.

Evmolpos CarbonTM is the recognized of integrated geology and mine planning solutions for coal and other stratified deposits. Carbon ensures resources are evaluated accurately and mined efficiently from exploration to rehabilitation. As a single integrated solution, data and skills can be readily moved between teams at significant time and cost savings.

System Architecture

The Carbon-WebGis application gives the ability to the user to evaluate mining well data, print the original and the evaluated well, produce spatial model of Tonnage distribution, calculate volumes of carbon over an area, design open pit, produce cross section over model and wells and create 3D maps showing the carbon with depth, the wells and the open pit structure.

"Carbon" Web Gis Open Pit Mining System.

Web-GIS platform for open pit mining

"Carbon" Web-GIS Editor is used to import, export, manipulate and develop various mining data. The layer manager includes vector and raster data (Drill hole data, Dem, Satellite images, Lithology data, Geologic Cross Section).

Main functionalities of Carbon-WebGis:
  • Insert mining well data.

  • Evaluate mining data.

  • Plot original and evaluated well data with depth.

  • Model the tonnage distribution taking into account the faults.

  • Calculate volumes over the model area.

  • Design open pit structures and calculate volumes for it.

  • Create cross section over a model area and along mining wells.

  • Design and edit spatial data of model areas, open pit areas and fault structures.

  • Create 3D plots with wells, dem, model area and open pits with the ability to rotate, zoom, scale and create 3D cross-sections.

  • Produce and print sophisticated maps.
